Learn how to playThe classic game, with an auction for the trump suit: Tarneeb
Tarneeb 41 (طرنيب 41), the Syrian 41, is the Tarneeb where everyone bids for themselves. Hearts are always trumps, each player promises a number of tricks, and partners keep separate scores but win together. Play it free in your browser with a bot partner, or at a private table with friends and family.
Four players in two teams, partners opposite, 52 cards with aces high, and play anticlockwise. Make your bid and you score its value; miss it and you lose it. Bids of five tricks or more count double.
The bots never see your cards. Easy bots misjudge their hands; Medium bots count their hearts, aces and short suits before they bid, and the last to bid stretches to reach 11 when it can; Hard bots also count every card played, note who is out of a suit, and let a partner who still needs tricks win them.
Hearts always trumps, one bid each from 2 to 13 tricks, the minimum of 11 in all, the scoring table (5 = 10, 6 = 12, 9 = 27), and winning at 41 with your partner above zero.
