Call Break (Callbreak) is the card game everyone in Nepal knows, and a favourite across India too. Four players each play for themselves, spades are always trumps, and every round starts with a call: the number of tricks you promise to win. Make it and you score it; fall short and you lose it.
Play it free in your browser against three computer players, or start a private table and send the link to your friends and family: the computer takes any empty seat. No download, no app and no sign-up.
The computer players never see your cards. They call from their spades, side aces and guarded kings, and lead short suits so they can trump them later. Easy players guess their calls and often play any card allowed; Medium players cash their winners and win tricks as cheaply as they can; Hard players also count every card played, read the must-win rule to know who is out of a suit or a high card, keep their high spades once their call is made, and fight to stop you making yours. Choose five rounds or a short game of three.
The deal, calling 1 to 8 tricks, the must-win rule with examples, spades as trumps, scoring the call plus 0.1 a trick, the redeal rule and five rounds.
