Play the Sevens card game online for free

Sevens is the British family card game also known as Fan Tan, Domino and Parliament, and you can play it here free in your browser, against bots or at a private table for friends and family. No download, no account.

Three to seven players share the whole pack. The 7 of diamonds starts; the other sevens open their suits; and the cards go down one at a time, building each suit outwards to the ace and the king like a game of dominoes. If you can play you must; if you can't, you pass and pay a chip into the pool.

How to play Sevens

  1. Ante and deal. Everyone puts a chip in the pool, then the whole pack is dealt one card at a time from the dealer's left.
  2. The 7 of diamonds. Whoever holds the 7♦ plays it to the centre of the table.
  3. Build. Play a seven to start a new suit, or the next card down or up a suit already laid out.
  4. Pass and pay. Only when no card fits may you pass, and each pass costs a chip into the pool.
  5. Go out. The first player out takes the pool and a chip for every card left in the other hands. Most chips after five hands wins.
